A Recent Software Development Project for the Healthcare Industry:

Our custom Internet application automates the requirements gathering and the transmission of data required by:

• The American College of Surgeons
  National Surgical Quality Improvement Program

inSync built a web-based interface between our client's internal management-care system and the NSQIP server.. The system allows the surgeons and the NSQIP nurse to review and annotate the data prior to transmitting to the NSQIP server. It also extracts information out of their managment care system necessary to evaluate the quality of the care in the surgical department.

1. Our client wanted to build a custom accounts receivable application to automate the accounts receivable billing to mobile home residents for expense charge backs, rent and rent escalations.  inSync bid and lost  to a friend of the owner.  4 years later & $75K over budget, the project was scratched.

2. Another client wanted to build a custom inventory tracking system for their unique knife-sharpening business.   inSync bid and lost to a less expensive competitor.  3 years later & $100K over budget, the project was abandoned.

A $300 million employee-owned company, our largest client with over 13 sites accross the country, wanted to build a stock system to track their employees’ stock option grants & vesting, purchases and sales.  They received competitive bids from a variety of sources, including outsourcing to India.  After much research & debate, they decided to go with inSync.
